Thirty-one days of sharing a peek into my life through my eyes.

And today is just another day.

Thirty-one days of noticing and appreciating the BIG and little in my life.

And today is just an average day.

Thirty-one days of celebrating words and connecting with other writers, teachers, mothers.

And today is just a Tuesday.

So, make that thirty-TWO days of writing, expressing, sharing, exploring, playing, examining  --

And today is a new beginning of Slice of Life sharing on Tuesdays.

    Awesome! There's so much I enjoy about this poem: The repetition and reassurance of this day in every other line. The reflection on the last 31 that we somehow survived only to find outselves needing to write again...immediately. The font in Big and little, and the perfect image to match your poem and our feelings (I think I'm feeling the same way). And, mostly importantly, the really positive tone because I might have been feeling a little overwhelmed about day 32.

    Oh, I really like this! I love the repetition throughout. I'm excited about a new beginning, too. I'm happy to have accomplished one goal and excited to move on to the next. Looking forward to hearing more from you in the days to come.

    In a way I am glad that this first Tuesday comes the day after the challenge ended. I feel like I am still in the swing of things. I am really looking forward to this new year (of Tuesday slicing).

    It is amazing how some Tuesdays I have no inspiration at all and then March comes and I find something to share each day . . . well most of the days this year ;-)

    Love the way you structured this (you always have a way of playing with verse and lines!) to show the ordinary and the not so ordinary and how they are, often, the same.

soLs: a week

Slice of Life Stories hosted by the  Two Writing Teachers I can't believe it's already been one whole week. Sometimes vacations are over in a blink, but other times vacations move slowly to enjoy every moment.  That's how this vacation is going - slowly, but with so much to enjoy. Of course, it is hard being away from home and the every-day-usual, but what I have truly enjoyed the most is the evenings.  After the girls are tucked in bed, it becomes my time to do what I choose to do because I have NO to-do list!  Nothing!  No cleaning, no laundry (thanks Mom!), no dinner (thanks Dad!), no dishes, no nothing.  Instead I have guilt-free time to read books, browse Twitter, catch up on blog reading, scrounge...

soLs: a (proud) little secret

Slice of Life Stories hosted by the  Two Writing Teachers Come here.   Come closer.   I have a secret to share with you.   I'm really excited about it and I haven't told anyone except my mom , my hubby, and my friend, colleague, and writing buddy . I receive notifications of comments on my blog on my email at school.  I think all of you will agree, it's always exciting to see that a new comment was left behind.  It never gets old.  Everyone loves a visitor, a voice that let's you know that you've been heard, and a comment that keeps you writing.
