What could I write about?  Hmmm. . . let me count the ways:

  1. Time.  There is just never enough. 
  2. Social media.  Sucks up my time.
  3. Timers.  To control my time?
  4. Celebrations.  Need to notice more.
  5. Sickness.  Being sick is icky.
  6. Tired.  Need an uninterrupted night of sleep.
  7. Surfing.  Still swimming the waters.
  8. Reading.  Snuggled with my girls.
  9. Three.  Not an easy age.
  10. But three.  Such a fun age.
  11. And three.  Really opinionated age.
  12. Good days.  Playing in the leaves.
  13. Bad days.  Lack of patience.
  14. Mom.  A waiting email with snippets of stories.
  15. Prayer.  It's powerful.  
  16. Story.  Each idea holds a memory, a moment, a story of right now.

    Love the numbered list - it's fun to make inferences about some and completely understand the others. Now get some rest! :)

    I love this list. Enjoy those opinionated three year olds! They will be teenagers and gone way too soon!

    I think I could have written this list--well, except for the three year old parts. Looks to me like you could add number 17--Finding time for myself :)

    Your list is right on. The point about social media sucking up your time Is so true. I've found this week that it's not all that important, other than knowing what is happening with family and friends. Enjoy those 3 year old moments. They pass way too quickly. Love ya Mom

    I plan on doing the March SOL Challenge. There are times when I think how will I ever have enough ideas to write about for 31 days straight! Then I come here and read your posts and think how many different ideas can I take/steal from Michelle's blog. You just have a knack for making a great post out of something that seems so simple. Thank you!

    Your list is a telling slice in itself. Sometimes the fewer words we use, the more we say (if we pick the right ones). Nice!

soLs: a week

Slice of Life Stories hosted by the  Two Writing Teachers I can't believe it's already been one whole week. Sometimes vacations are over in a blink, but other times vacations move slowly to enjoy every moment.  That's how this vacation is going - slowly, but with so much to enjoy. Of course, it is hard being away from home and the every-day-usual, but what I have truly enjoyed the most is the evenings.  After the girls are tucked in bed, it becomes my time to do what I choose to do because I have NO to-do list!  Nothing!  No cleaning, no laundry (thanks Mom!), no dinner (thanks Dad!), no dishes, no nothing.  Instead I have guilt-free time to read books, browse Twitter, catch up on blog reading, scrounge...

soLs: a (proud) little secret

Slice of Life Stories hosted by the  Two Writing Teachers Come here.   Come closer.   I have a secret to share with you.   I'm really excited about it and I haven't told anyone except my mom , my hubby, and my friend, colleague, and writing buddy . I receive notifications of comments on my blog on my email at school.  I think all of you will agree, it's always exciting to see that a new comment was left behind.  It never gets old.  Everyone loves a visitor, a voice that let's you know that you've been heard, and a comment that keeps you writing.
