Join us for a month of writing!

Yes ... of course you are here (deep sigh). 

 Come on in (even though you were never invited).
To be honest, now is not a good time (and really, it never is).

 Finishing the last days before spring break (counting down).
Feeling a little stressed as I'm trying to pack (and repack).

 There is too much going on for you to stay (please not too long).
A day or two, but then really you should move along (for good).

 Just know sunshine & warmer temps will push you gone (goodbye).
And you will be left behind (for good).

 I hate this spring cold that sprung a day ago (days before vacation).
I wish I could say not now, but you are here (not for long).

 Yes ... of course you are here (deep sigh again).

    This was such a fun format! I love that it these feelings could be talking about a variety of things. I also liked the parts you put into parentheses. Funny!

    I loved the suspense of this poem. First I thought it might be an administrator coming to observe. Then I thought it might be a relative. Unfortunately, it was worse than either of those. Hope you are feeling better soon.

The March Slice of Life Story Challenge hosted  at the  Two Writing Teachers Join us for a month of writing! I have twin four and a half -- almost five! -- year old daughters.  I try to be consciously aware of what I say and do in regards to my body image and self-esteem and also with their body image and self-esteem.
